The Forum for Emerging Technology exists for one reason: to help students explore the technologies shaping the future — and to build with them, not just read about them. AI, Fintech, Data protection, Biotech, Blockchain. Five frontiers, one community.

We're a student-led group at the University of Lagos, and we're deliberately open to everyone — not only engineers. Some of the most interesting work happens at the edges, where law meets data protection, where finance meets blockchain, where biology meets computation. If you're curious about any of it, there's a place for you here.

This space is where we'll share what we're learning. Expect project write-ups and event recaps, curated courses and learning roadmaps, and honest perspectives from members across every faculty. Some of it will be polished. A lot of it will be work-in-progress — and that's the point.

You don't need to be an expert to start. You just need curiosity and the willingness to build. Join a Bloc, come to an event, or simply follow along here as we figure it out together.
